Once you've been migrated to the new Office 365 email service, you'll need to make changes to your mobile devices in order to access your email and calendars.

If you already access your UWA mail on your device, you'll need to remove your existing account.

If you're setting up a new device, or if you haven't configured your device to access your UWA email, you can jump straight to setting up your Office 365 UWA email.

Remove your existing UWA email account

If you've already got your UWA email account set up on your iOS device, you'll need to remove it. If you're setting up a new device, you can skip this step and browse straight to the Setup Guide.

Step 1

Navigate to your device's Settings screen, and select Mail:

Tap on Accounts:

Select your UWA account:

Tap Delete account:

Set up your Office 365 UWA email account

Once you've removed your existing UWA email account (or if you're setting up a new device), you can add your Office 365 UWA email account by following the steps below.

 

Step 1

Navigate to your device's Settings screen, and select Mail

Tap on Accounts:

Tap on Add Account:

Step 4

Tap on Exchange:

Step 4 

 

Step 5

Type in your email address, add a description of your choice, and tap Next:

Type in your password, and tap Next:

Step 7

Enter the following, and tap Next:

  • Server: outlook.office365.com
  • Username: yourstaffnumber@uwa.edu.au
  • Password: your Pheme password

Step 7 

 

Step 8

Select which items you'd like to bring across, and tap Save - you're done!:

(please note that selecting Contacts will bring the UWA address book across to your device)
