UWA has a central Access Management System called Pheme where you activate and maintain your central university account and set a password.
Pheme provides staff and students with a single user ID and password to access a range of UWA services.
Key features
- Same sign-on ? you have one user ID and one password to access University electronic systems and resources.
- Password expiry ? passwords will expire every six months and you will be requested to change your password prior to the expiration.
Getting started
A Pheme account is created automatically for each staff member on commencement of employment and for each student on enrolment. All Pheme accounts need to be activated on the Pheme site before they can be used.
New staff and students
Go to the Pheme site, select your category then, using your staff number or student number, activate your Pheme account.
Non-paid University staff members
Non-paid University staff members requiring access to IT facilities within the University, first need to complete and have authorised the Commencement of Non-university Staff form.
Visitors
Visitors may have access to some IT facilities within the University. They need to complete and have authorised the UWA visitor Campus Card application form.
Changing your password
To change your password, staff, students or visitors go to the Pheme site, select your category, then login with you current password or select 'Forgotten your password'?
